As a base materials supplier, TECHNOLAM is keenly aware of the high sensitivity of the finished products – and therefore offers you qualified solutions from customisation to storage. This naturally includes intelligent packaging systems that secure the first-class quality of products during transport and storage and make handling easier.

After the cutting, edge milling and labelling phases are completed, our laminates are stacked in alternating layers or numbered with flags. This simplifies the counting of laminate and prepreg sheets and makes data capture significantly easier during internal inventory audits. As a standard procedure, we package prepregs in vacuum-tight plastic bags following customisation.

For both laminates and prepregs, TECHNOLAM offers you two packaging solutions: convenient one-way packaging and environmentally friendly and cost-efficient reusable packaging.

One-way packaging

Our one-way packaging consists of pallets on which your base materials are stacked on a sheet of protective cardboard and a plastic film for protecting the package contents from environmental factors. The product's stacking height is flexible and is only limited by weight considerations. The packaging does not have to be kept after use, but can rather be disposed of at the customer's expense.

Reusable packaging

Our reusable packaging system is the more environmentally friendly packaging solution. Here, we ship the customised laminates and prepregs on plastic pallets. The pallets feature one or multiple stack frames which allow for a variable stacking height of the package contents. A stable sealing lid protects the goods from external factors. With this solution, different quantities of materials can be packed on each pallet.

After completed use, the customer sends the packaging set consisting of pallet, stack frames and lid back to TECHNOLAM – we cover the return costs! By choosing reusable packaging, your company saves money while being ecologically responsible.
